rf/microwave circuit assembler

Reports to: Manufacturing Manager
CAP Wireless is currently seeking an RF/microwave circuit assembler to assemble prototype and production-level microwave and RF electronic circuitry from online documentation. The ideal candidate must be able to work as a cooperative team member, but also be comfortable working individually. We need a self-starting, motivated individual who is comfortable expressing opinions and ideas about methods and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Soldering of electronic components to circuit boards
- Perform basic housekeeping tasks as they pertain to an electronic assembly workstation
- Participate with and contribute to multidisciplinary teams for process improvement
- Light mechanical assembly, including circuit board installation, connector installation, etc.
Requirements:
- Must be able to read and interpret electronic (online) and/or paper bills of material and related assembly documentation
- Soldering skills certified to IPC-610 and/or J-STD-001 and SMT and through-hole soldering
- Able to communicate with and take instruction from Engineering and Manufacturing for specialized circuit assembly tasks
- Able to read procedure and process documents in English
- Basic computer skills (navigate folders, open files, navigate MS Excel and drawing files)
